Compare Tread Temperatures
As these test results prove, the exclusive patented Hawkinson "Rolling Radius" curing method does not apply heat to sidewalls or bead area. So buckling, crunching, overheating of tire casings during the curing process is eliminated.

| TEST PARAMETERS (Thermocouple Wire Locations) Buff line at shoulder, bead equidistant between toe and heal, inside casing at tread centerline, tread surface at centerline. Hawkinson Treads are scientifically applied to run cooler, smoother and quieter. Temperature readings by Thermo-Electric Digimite. Tests conducted by Retreading Consultant Services, Louisville, Kentucky. Complete test results available from Hawkinson Companies. |

Hawkinson's Method
Precure
Live rubber is infused directly to the casing creating the strongest bond possible.
Precured rubber is glued to the tire casing by a thin piece of cushion gum.
No splices means a perfect tread around the entire circumference
Precured rubber ends are glued together by a process called stitching. The splice endpoints do not match causing a misalignment in the tread design.
Rubber is applied evenly around the entire circumference
When precured rubber is applied it can be too short or long for the application. Due to this the rubber will either be stretched or forced into position. This creates heavy or light spots which cause heat and tread wave.
No heat is applied to the sidewall during the curing process.
High heat to the sidewall during the curing process.
Match-mated tires every time.
Mismatched tire on same axle, because, no two casings are exactly alike.
