| The old style 1 and 20 Meg resistor end bands ocasionally break. Replacing the end band may | |||||||||||||||||||
| not fix the problem. In other words, removing the old end band and installing a new end band | |||||||||||||||||||
| (or removing the old end band and then reinstalling the old end bad) may cause the resistor | |||||||||||||||||||
| to fail. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Measure the resistor with a meter to ensure that it is working properly if the end band | |||||||||||||||||||
